The Girl Behind
the Camera
I am the creator behind Tess Jasmine Photography, a mother of two beautiful children, and a Primary School teacher.
I am from Perth, Western Australia. I grew up in the beautiful inner-city suburb of Mt Hawthorn. In 2010 I moved to the harsh, dry Pilbara town of Karratha in the north west of Western Australia.
It is here, in this magical region of Western Australia, that my passion for photography grew. The rugged landscape holds so much beauty and magic with contrasting sceneries of red hills and blue ocean waters, a sky that melts into the horizon, light that dances over golden grasses and the most spectacular sunsets.
The Pilbara landscape is unique and provides the perfect backdrop for portrait photography. Throughout my years in Karratha I have learnt to read the scenery and light so that they work perfectly together to complement and enhance a moment captured in time.
My vision in Tess Jasmine Photography is not only to capture moments and connection, but also to create timeless, photographic art for clients to cherish and to proudly display around their home.
