EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

I’ve had this concept I have wanted to do for so long and I keep putting it off but this year I am going to make it happen… I want to do a project to empower women of all walks of life who call the Pilbara home… to tell short stories through images, capture strength, beauty and resilience as well as connections and friendships.

I am thinking of holding short shoots throughout February, March and April (possibly two an evening/several in a row for studio) to capture the images for this project. It could be a solo shoot, or you could come with a group of friends and we capture you all indivually and then together. Also generational shoots of daughters, mothers and grandmothers etc.

The shoot could be one of empowerment, boudior, breast feeding, captured in a workplace, outdoors, showing your hobby or even in your home. It would be you wearing something that represents you, or something that makes you feel powerful, or beautiful, or it could be your workout fit, gym entire, boho feminine dresses etc. I’d love a huge mix of looks and vibes. I want to edit every images in colour and then black and white.

You would receive a questionnaire to help me capture you and showcase your story.

The shoots themselves would be a very small cost of $25 (approx. 20 minutes in length) and you will receive 2 images from the shoot (this is simply to go towards covering costs). If you decide you’d like to purchase more images, you can do so at a discounted cost of $50 per images rather than what I usually change ($95 per image) But there is no obligation to purchase additional images. You will receive a gallery of approx. 20 images to select your chosen images from.

Images will be shared on social media and put into a video. I’d also love it if people are comfortable to share a little bit of their story your image but you don’t have to if they don’t want to.
