Outdoor Sessions
Step into nature's embrace with our outdoor photography sessions, where the Western Australia landscape becomes your backdrop. We are spoilt for locations with beaches boasting high and low tides, bush and gum tree settings, the iconic Pilbara red hills and rocks, golden grasses and amazing historical buildings. During the winter months we are also blessed with the most brilliant range of wildflowers.

The main focus of the outdoor maternity session is on mum and her beautiful growing belly, against the amazing Pilbara scenery. At Tess Jasmine Photography, I offers a range of options when it comes to capturing the perfect maternity portraits which are customised to suit you and your family. I have a range of gowns you can choose and wear wear during your photographic session as well as a selection of under-garments, accessories and flower crowns to cater for all styles and personalities.

Newborn sessions are held at either sunset or sunrise to make the most of the beautiful soft, golden light. Your baby is held for 80-90% of the session, so the mood and the age of your baby does not matter, unlike traditional studio sessions where ideally we prefer baby to be between 5 and 15 days old. During an Outdoor Newborn Session your baby is usually always wrapped - this helps keep them settled, secure and warm. Whilst you are welcome to bring along any wraps or outfits you would like your baby to wear, I am able to provide everything required for your baby in regards to wraps, throws and props.

These sessions are held at sunset or sunrise. I like to allow the children to ‘direct’ the flow of the session. This allows them to feel that they are an integral part of the experience which keeps them engaged, focused and happy. I believe in not only capturing those beautifully posed photos, but also the spontaneous ‘in-between’ moments that perfectly capture your children and their personalities.
Studio Sessions
Let me capture your life's most precious moments with a photography session held in the Tess Jasmine Photography purpose-built studio. From elegant maternity portraits that showcase the wonder of pregnancy, to intimate and posed newborn sessions capturing those early days, and timeless family portraits that freeze moments in time – our studio is your canvas. These sessions are more structured and posed than outdoor sessions.

Many ladies who choose to have their maternity session in-studio like to include nude or semi-nude photos as well as utilising the beautiful gowns I have on offer. Children and partners are welcome to be part of these experiences. Prior to your session, I will contact you to discuss gown selection, styling, make-up and hair.

Cherish your baby's first days with posed shots and delicate setups. Newborn sessions can take up to three hours, as each pose takes time. The goal is to capture those beautifully posed shots, some in wraps, some in outfits and some nude (if desired). I offer these sessions mid-mornings on Tuesday and Friday. It is recommended to book these sessions in advance to secure a session and then notify me within 14 days of baby being born as they are usually sleepier and easier to pose during the first few weeks.

Session Fee
A $200 session deposit is required at time of booking to secure your session.
The session fee covers your session and the time and talent of the photographer. It does not include any digitals, products or prints.
The session fee is non refundable but can be transferred to a new date should a postponement be required.
Digital images, products and prints are additional to your session fee.
The minimum spend is $650 (Session fee plus Petite Collection). Most clients spend an average of $1300 - $1700 on their collections and products.
Interest free payment plans are available upon request and can be catered to all budget needs
Collections & Products
All Collections include images in both black and white and colour. Digital and Print Collections start at $450 for 5 digital images.
Products start at $35 for a 5x7 matted print and include prints, canvases, acrylics and albums (on request).
